Welcome to the
Broad Street Regeneration Project
Pawtucket ~ Central Falls ~ Cumberland
The Broad Street Regeneration Initiative is a collaborative effort between Central Falls, Cumberland, Pawtucket, and the Blackstone Valley Tourism Council to engage local community leaders and mobilize local businesses, residents and other stakeholders towards the revitalization of Broad Street. Our vision for Broad Street is a thriving commercial corridor with safe, walkable streets and a healthy, engaged and welcoming multi-city neighborhood.
The state of Rhode Island’s Transportation Improvement Program has committed $11.5 million towards Broad Street, including the road surface, three bridges, and streetscape improvements which will be designed and implemented beginning in 2018. The Broad Street Regeneration Initiative will collect input from stakeholders to determine priorities and locations for these improvements. Please sign up for our newsletter to receive updates about opportunities to provide your feedback and to discover other ways to get involved.
